I've had it for about a year now; my main experience is Jeep owners looking at my Outback and going ***! :D I do plan on relocating the rearview camera in some fashion, but haven't worked out which direction I'm heading. Recently I had to make a cross country trip: Virginia to Toledo to Dallas and back to Virginia. In Dallas, I had to rent a trailer as I had already stuffed the back of the Subi to overflowing. I looked on your site to find trailer towing info and how much it could haul. No real good info and no pictures of vehicles in towing mode; so I went with the Outbacks abilities. I planned on removing the US and placing it in the trailer while attaching the trailer to the Outback. I ended up just attaching the trailer to the US. FYI, I had a 5x8 trailer with about 1000 lbs of gear. I pulled it over 1200 miles and experienced no problems The hitch looks like no wear. Good craftsmanship.
The Ultraswing has been incredible! The swing out makes for the perfect camp kitchen setup. I can’t wait to mount a waterport to the side to complete the setup!
So far I love the ultra swing, fits great, NO WOBBLE!!
The install on my 2014 subaru outback was pretty easy and the performance is outstanding. I am getting ready for a 6 week trip to Alaska, post-pandemic, and need the ability to overcome obstacles. The mount allows for a full spare tire and 3.5 gallon rotopax fuel tank. Since purchasing and installing it has remained on and wobble free. The handle on the swing mount is very is easy to use and feels secure. Looking forward to many adventures with the RIGd mount!
Literally no complaints. Works as should even with a after market bumper and looks good too.
