A skid plate for your UltraSwing, and a step..a SKEP™
The SKEP is an all-in-one hitch skid and step designed to give you an ideal footprint for stepping up into your rig and providing additional protection to your UltraSwing, all while minimally affecting departure angle.
Improve the experience of getting up to a vehicle's rear hatch ladder or stepping up into a van, camper, bed rack, etc. the SKEP makes for a great seat too that lines up with the height of the UltraTable.
The SKEP was designed to take a beating, no need to worry about removing the SKEP before wheeling, and it will save your hitch too.
The SKEP uses a super durable Jessup® grip tape originally developed for use on the decks of battleships to ensure maximum grip and a very long life lived in the elements.
The SKEP comes with our locking anti-rattle hitch pin to ensure a quiet ride over rough terrain and protect against theft.
***Note: SKEP is only compatible with the UltraSwing. It will not fit on a regular hitch receiver.***

This is a solid product and exactly as described. This thing does not rattle, does not move and is SOLID metal. Powder coating was spot on as well. It comes with the locking hit pin setup and keys. I wear a size 15 Wide shoe and from the picture you will see I have ample support to do what I need. However, there are two functional things I would like to note. I don't think either of these take away from the value or rating which is why I kept this 5 Stars. #1. Getting the key to fit in the small area that is given to unlock/lock the pin is a bit of a PITA. #2. I carry a 24" Wheel w/ 40" MT Tire on my Mega Fit. This is the MAX you can carry. With this said, when I swing my carrier closed, the swing rubs right on the rough side of the SKEP which I am sure will eat away at the powder coating on the swing. It is only a small area and if I do it carefully I can get it not to rub. I can touch up anything with some preventative maintenance so it won't do any long term damage.
