Rich (left) loves what he does, going to events and meeting people is a value that Rich gives major priority to.

Who is Rich?

Rich of VTX brings a deep sense of meaning and purpose to everything he does. The proof can be seen both in the way he chooses to run his business and build his rig.

Community

Rich is also a profound catalyst for community. For Rich, it's all about the people. From sponsoring and coordinating charity events, to a who's who network of ambassadors and advocates, Rich is all about helping to grow the overland community and building lasting friendships along the way. In the age of automated marketing and impersonal businesses, Rich has made a very conscious decision to focus on personal relationships. This decision came from a realization that life's too short not to make time to get to know people and hopefully have a positive impact. As a byproduct, he's found that the ripple effect of a handshake and a genuine conversation with someone can actually do far more for building a brand and business than an automated marketing campaign.

The Rig

Highlights include Icon Stage 7 suspension, front ARB air locker, and ARB Safari snorkel.

Armor and Lighting

Rich armored up with a Pelfreybilt front bumper and CBI rear bumper with double swing-out tire carrier. Rich chose CBI sliders with kick out for maximum body protection and D.O.M tubing upgrade for increased strength and reduced weight.

For lighting Rich went all out with Rigid Indistries:

Rear of the roof rack Rigid Industries SR-Series PRO 6" Flood x2 with amber covers, in each corner of the front and rear bumpers, D-Series PRO driving pair with amber covers, front bumper light bar is an SR-Series PRO 30" Spot/Flood Combo and front roof light bar

All these lights are kept clean and organized with a Switch Pros 8-Switch Panel Power System.

Storage

Rich is a family man and loves having enclosed cargo to keep he and his family's gear safe, secure and dry out on the trail. To keep the inside organized and safe, RIch went with a Goose Gear 50/50 side-x-side drawer module. Outside is a Front Runner Slimline II roof rack to support a James Baroud Evasion Evo hardshell rooftop tent.

Recovery and Air

Rich is a proponent of closed recovery systems and went with a Factor 55 1.5 fairlead, Factor 55 ultra hook and Factor 55 Hitch link 2.0 to go along with a Warn M8000s winch. Rich also carries a Deadman Off-Road The Deadman & Bodybag for solo recovery.

Airing back up is taken care of with an ARB inflator kit and air gauge.

Wheels

Of course, we have to mention wheels. What does the wheel guy choose but one of his own VTX Offroad Wheels Rogue Satin Bronze 17x8.5. Rich spent a lot of time determining wheel spacing and offset ideal for both the Toyota and Jeep market.

What will he roll out next?
